Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is an 86 bed, not-for-profit organization based in Bozeman, Montana. Bozeman Deaconess was incorporated in 1911 and has been serving the healthcare needs of the Gallatin Valley community ever since. Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is an 86-bed, Joint Commission accredited, Level III verified Trauma Center. The hospital is five-star rated in Cardiac and Orthopedic Care by HealthGrades, a leading independent healthcare ratings organization; fivestar rated by Cleverly + Associates for Community Value (4 years in a row); a designated Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement; and a five-time recipient of the Mountain-Pacific Quality Achievement Award. Bozeman Deaconess Health Services, which oversees the operations of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and Hillcrest Senior Living Neighborhood, is Gallatin County’s largest private employer—with over 1200 clinicians and support staff. The medical staff includes more than 160 contracted physicians, dentists, and podiatrists and 40 health professionals who enjoy living, working and providing quality healthcare in the Gallatin Valley. That means we have access to specialty care that most communities our size don’t have. For example, the medical staff at Bozeman Deaconess has grown to include a geriatrician, hematologist, infectious disease and travel medicine specialist, interventional cardiologists and radiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, hospitalists, neurologists, nephrologist and a rheumatologist.
