Overview

This template is used for a message on the Help Desk like {{creation}} but with extra options.

Syntax

Variables

  • assume=(location of another WMF article or another website)
    A sentence is added at the start of the paragraph saying I assume you mean <assume>?
  • noref=(official site(s))
    A sentence is added saying The article does not have any reliable references that I can see (only <noref>).
  • bio=yes
    The subject is a biographical subject - output is tailored for this
  • ath=yes
    The subject is an athlete or sportsperson - output is tailored for this
  • org=yes
    The subject is an organisation or a company - output is tailored for this

For a subject to have an article on the English Wikipedia, reliable independent sources of information are required. If you have any such sources, and can show that Wikipedia's Notability guidelines are met, then you have a few choices:
