BABY'S JOKES SETS MOTHER FRANTIC
UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio, Aug. 22. - The five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Corfman of Lovell, near here, played a trick on his parents that nearly distracted them. He is mischievous — so much so that his mamma locked him in a corncrib for safe keeping.
Shortly after, Mrs. Cordman was horrified to see the corncrib on fire. Running to the crib she cried frantically for her little boy to come out. There was no response. The crib burned to the ground and the parents were frantic with fear that the boy had perished. Suddenly two little feet pattered up the walk and a merry voice shouted:
"That's the time I fooled mamma. I set it afire myself so as to get out."
