Bleeding Heart Recordings. is an Independent Brighton based record label which was founded in late 2009. The label originates from the successful Bleeding Hearts Club night at the Prince Albert in Brighton. This night specialised in exhibiting folk acts from Brighton and the South East, and is known for putting on the likes of Bat for Lashes, The Robot Heart, Mute Swimmer, Stars of Aviation and Woodpecker Wooliams. The label intends to showcase many of the acts that perfomed at the Bleeding Heart Club night, as well as new acts. The first release by Bleeding Heart recordings has been a 6 song mini album of electronica tinged folk by the Brighton based band, The Robot Heart. Their mini album 'Dust' was released on CD format on 17th of July 2010.
