- Full-time students also pointed out that part-time and distance-learning students taking up the seats of full-time students.
- Due to underfunding from government, the Polytechnic has found it difficult to develop and expand the institution while at the same time maintain current infrastructure
- Tjama Tjivikua has also pointed that when the institution was created “it did not receive the proper budgetary consideration to create a holistic higher eduction infrastructure”.

- Some students also stated that they are disturbed by others pass-by.
- Some lecture have also highlighted that its difficult to control an overcrowded classroom and give special attention.
