Gaby Ortigoni is the Manager of Community Relations for OUC–The Reliable One (Orlando Utilities Commission)<ref></1> in Orlando, Fla. In this role, Ms. Ortigoni manages numerous outreach programs to educate the community on effective ways to use energy and water efficiently while saving money.

Before joining OUC, Ms. Ortigoni was the Director of Marketing & Sales for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando. Her work experience also includes serving as the Director of Hispanic Crime Prevention at Florida International University’s Center for the Administration of Justice and as a legislative assistant for Florida House of Representatives, District 35. She also was the Senior Community Officer for the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration. In this role, Ms. Ortigoni led a voter registration campaign in which more than 10,000 Hispanics were registered to vote for the first time.

Ms. Ortigoni was born in Mexico City. Her mother, Dr. Eugenia M. Aguirre, is from Mexico City and her father, Ramón Nuñez, is from the Dominican Republic. In addition to living in Mexico City, as a child Ms. Ortigoni lived in Puerto Rico. She has resided in Orlando since 1991.
