Jack Venable (February 25, 1939 - November 18, 2005) was a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 31st district. He was a Tallassee, Alabama newspaper owner and publisher.
Early life
[edit]Venable was born in Santuck, Alabama. In 1956, he graduated from Wetumpka High School and later graudated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.He was the salutatorian of his high school class, but he turned down a college education.[1]
