Hello there. I am not really comfortable giving much personal detail except that yes, my user name is my actual name; I will probably end up working on some medieval history articles at some point, as that used to be my field before I went into science communication; I currently (it being 2017) work for a neuroscience institute in Tübingen, Germany, namely, the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (which I have written the current article about as my first entry, which obviously goes into COI territory, so anybody willing to improve upon that article: please do, I'd be indebted!).
