If the draft you're reviewing is for a new article, consider the following in addition to the above.
Does the article meet Wikipedia's Notability requirements - i.e. Is the article supported by 2-3 reliable secondary sources independent of the subject?
How exhaustive is the list of sources? Does it accurately represent all available literature on the subject?

Examples of good feedback
A good article evaluation can take a number of forms. The most essential things are to clearly identify the biggest shortcomings, and provide specific guidance on how the article can be improved.
- You have good sources. In terms of improvement, just add more scholarly gated sources.
- Rather than ethnicity itself, spend more time discussing the political engagement/activities of Nashville's Kurdish community. In other words, develop the "politics" aspect in "ethnic politics," as opposed to describing Kurds in Nashville generally. If you can, consider incorporating some of the course readings.
- With respect to the history section, make it more specific to Nashville Kurds, since some of its content would fit more in an article about general Kurdish history.
- To expand the content of the article as a whole, maybe describe the economic situation of Nashville's Kurdish community, e.g., common vocations/industries, median income, and various other economic statistics (if they are attainable via online research). Link such phenomena to politics whenever possible. Also, consider adding a list of prominent Kurds from Nashville.
- Your article has a coherent structure, which greatly aids the reader.
- Your lead is just the right length. Unless circumstances change, I would keep the length as it is.
