Cellular phone devices have swiftly become one of, if not the most important technological break throughs within the last few centuries. The idea of much smaller cellular phones was first introduced in the early 1900s and the popularity of the idea came to be after the events of World War 2. By the 1900s, cellular systems were being built around the world and cellular phones no longer the need to physical connection to networks. Today cellular phones use nearby cell towers to communicate with people around the world and companies are implementing close range Wi-Fi towers to ease bandwidth usage. Cellular phones can be used for multiple tasks such contacting family members, stock trading, maps, streaming movies, gaming, and access to social media. Furthermore, banking services for cellular devices are becoming more mainstream and money can be transferred, or finances can be paid off with one push of a button. In retail stores customers are now rewarded for making mobile cellular payments instead of using cash. Cellular phones are the best way to stay in touch with one another while providing other daily services. Although cellular phones now seem to just only advertise entertainment or other streaming services, the ability to call 911 at any point during an emergency can help save someone’s life.
