Early Life
[edit]Jeremy Clinton Tremain(Jeremy Lost) had a somewhat hard upbringing. From being bullied all his adolescent life at school, to being outcasted by his family Jeremy has always had a hard time trusting people. Seeing that his father(Schulyser Ferguson) was never in the picture, and his mother(Jennifer Tremain) was not necessarily ready to have a child, Lost turned to his grandfather(Gerry Tremain) specifically to take care of him as a child. When his mother was in the picture, she had a problem with drugs and alcohol, and so did the rest of his family excluding his grandfather and some aunts and uncles. Having seen his mother go thru a lot of horrible relationships, domestic abuse, drug abuse, and neglect on Jeremy, Lost developed PTSD from the trauma he suffered as a child, which affects him and the people around him still to this day.
How did the music begin?
[edit]Jeremy Lost was not always listening to rap & hip hop music. Growing up, the only music he heard was rock n' roll and pop. Starting in the 4th grade, Lost began playing the cello to stay out of trouble, and to not have to go home so soon after school because during that time, life was rough for the young Jeremy. Jeremy Lost played the cello all the way up to 12th grade in high school, his senior year at Satellite High SchoolItalic text. While in orchestra, Jeremy received 100% grades on every single assessment, every concert and every graded performance for his entire career as a cellist. Not once did Jeremy take any lessons to play, nor did he practice on his own time. He was truly talented musically and used his skill of music to skyrocket him to the top ranks of youth cellists in the state of Florida, reaching 1st chair in every orchestra he played in. In his senior year of high school, Jeremy lost suffered the loss of his grandfather(Gerry Clinton Tremain) to terminal cancer, dying in the house they lived in on the living room couch. After he died, Lost dropped out of high school and wanted to pursue a music genre that was more of a "solo act." Until then, Jeremy rarely ever listened to rap music at all, and had no idea where to start. Diving into the beginning of his rap career, Jeremy Lost first perfected his skill of a "studio engineer," so his music would sound as good as the songs on the radio, which took him 5 years to master. Jeremy had a slow come up, barely reaching 100 streams a day on his soundcloud page for the first 4 years.
