My name is Malcolm (named after Malcolm X) and I grew up in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, where I still live. It's getting pricier as it gentrifies.

I supported the Black Panthers at their prime, but I do not support the Nation of Islam, which is basically the same as the Panthers, except hiding behind a religion they know almost nothing about. Now that political progress is being made by and for African Americans and other people of color, I support peaceful and nonviolent protests and civil disobedience, when necessary (for which I also owe a debt to the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. for his bravery and commitment to peace and racial harmony.
