Note

In this case when a title has more than 50 characters:

• Set the force=true like so...

This will italicize the title within the Talk header box and at the top of the page. As you can see, forcing the italicization of titles more than 50 characters in length italicizes the entire title including any parentheses and their contents.

• When editing, it is important to note that if using the italic title=yes does not italicize the Talk page titles in the Talkheader box and at the top of the Talk page, then you may have to use the force=true parameter. This can be checked before the page is saved while previewing the Talk page you are editing. If the titles aren't italicized in the preview, then they won't be italicized when you save your edit.
