A CAR is a motor engine with wheels. Most definitions of vehicles state that they are generally used on roadways, have four wheels, seat one to eight people, and are primarily used to transport people rather than cargo.In the US, where they quickly displaced horse-drawn carriages, cars became commonplace. The demand for cars did not pick up until after World War II in Europe and other parts of the world. The modern economy is regarded as being impossible without automobiles.
Controls are available for driving, parking, passenger comfort, and a number of lighting in automobiles. Vehicles have steadily become more complicated over the years as more features and controls have been introduced. Air conditioning, navigational systems, and in-car entertainment are a few of these. The majority of cars on the road in the early 2020s are powered by internal combustion engines that burn fossil fuels for energy. Electric vehicles were created early in the history of the automobile, went on sale, and are anticipated to be less expensive before 2025, to buy gasoline-powered vehicles. The 20th century saw the widespread availability of commercial vehicles. The 1908 Model T, an American automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company', was one of the first vehicles that the average person could purchase. ELECTRIC CARS
[edit]An electric vehicle uses a battery to store electrical energy that is ready to use. A battery pack is made up of a number of cells that are grouped into modules. Once the battery has sufficient energy stored, the vehicle is ready to use. Battery technology has improved hugely in recent years. Level 2 chargers can charge a BEV to 80 percent from empty in 4-10 hours and a PHEV in 1-2 hours. Direct current fast charging (DCFC) equipment offers rapid charging along heavy-traffic corridors at installed stations. DCFC equipment can charge a BEV to 80 percent in just 20 minutes to 1 hour.
