EVALUATION

Evaluation means to assign a number to a particular observation. An observation may be a test or a set of particular numbers. We need some different techniques or methods to evaluate deaf and dumb students.

Evaluation for deaf students

  • Modified examination formats
  #Written examination with visual aids
  #Sign language interpreters
  #Video or audio recordings with transcripts
  • Accomodations for communication

Provide accommodations to facilitate communication during the examination such as Note-taker and Tablet or laptop

  • Extended time and breaks

Providing extended time and regular breaks to help deaf students.

Evaluation for intellectual disabled students

Accomodations for cognitive support

  • A reader or scribe to assist with reading or writing
