List of collective nouns

The entry for bursar in List of collective nouns appears to be bogus. I do not see where the source verifies it's entry. Please do not restore it again unless you can show the page number and text that supports it. Thanks. Jojalozzo 22:30, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of animal names may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Help me!

User:Epistemos has made quite a number of page moves between 16th December 2015 and 23rd December 2015 involving so-called 'common nouns'.

e.g. List of Governors-General of Australia has been moved to List of governors-general of Australia.

I notice that a couple of other users have had issue with these moves and moved some pages back.

Yet List of Governors-General of India was moved to List of governors-general of India back in 2014 and nobody has changed it back since.

I was wondering if non-capitalisation of these titles is correct or not.

If they should not have been moved, then there are a lot of articles that need moving back.

If the moves are in line with Wikipedia policy, then should pages such as Governor-General of Australia and Governor-General of India also be moved.

Please advise. Also, if the pages need moving back, I request assistance with this as I am not overly confident in doing so.

Ozzieboy (talk) 08:31, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

It looks like the article do need moving back because they are proper nouns as per MOS:JOBTITLES. I'll move them back. Thanks, Tom29739 [talk] 17:53, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Ozzieboy,
Just querying your edit here. Several WP pages now have information connecting the aboriginal depicted on the $2 coin with Gwoya Jungarai. However none of the cited on-line Mint references mention him by name.
Possibly,

"Ian W. Pitt, ed. (2000). Renniks Australian Coin and Banknote Values p.88 (19th ed.). Chippendale, NSW: Renniks Publications. ISBN 978-0-9585574-4-3."

Is more explicit? If you know anything more please let me know. 220 of Borg 02:43, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
