Dr.O.S.Subramanian (B.Sc.,M.B.B.S.) is active President of Idappadi Medical Association a member of Indian Medical Association. He was born and bought up in Oruvapatti, a village near Idappadi Municipality in Salem district, Tamil Nadu, India. He finished his school in Idappadi Boys High school and pursued his Medicine in Madurai Medical College.

Early Life

He started his medical practise in Tharamangalam, a town in Salem district and practiced nearly 1 year. Later he moved to Idappadi in early 1970s. He rented a small place and started serving to people of Idappadi town. In a very few years since he started practise, he became well known in the town for his tireless service and known to people to surrounding villages of Idappadi as well. He became one of leading Doctor in Idappadi and the surroundings. IMA formed for Idappadi brach in 2008 and he became President of the Association.
