Don Quixote goes mad from his reading of books of chivalry. Engraving by Gustave Doré.

Be Bold Wiki-markup

[edit]

Hello, this example of wikimarkup will express the bold character of this titled section.
Be Bold Wiki-markup will include the use of bold italics as well. Should you desire to know Orschstaffer a little better, then I would suggest following the inline link in this sentence.

The image to the right will also be found on that same link in the previous paragraph. I personally find it to fit my character quite well.[citation needed][1] Miguel's Don Quixote[2] was the first classic literature I read and I will admit that I laughed all the way through the book which I could not put down until I finished it.

Wikipedia Literature Project

[edit]

Reading such classic literature, for me, was quite intoxicating and I found myself needing more so I went to the library where I found The Three Muskateers by Alexandre Dumas in translated form[3] and published by Bantaam Books and also found myself not sleeping until I finished the book. After catching up on my sleep I bought every other book written by Mr. Dumas in the D'Artagnan Romances as well as the The Count of Monte Cristo and The Man in the Iron Mask.

Another book titled Camille[4] which is not referenced in the romances mentioned above is yet another intriguing read. Use of the <cite /> markup tag was not used in this wikimarkup example.

Alexandre Dumas the elders

Perhaps Alexandre (fils) was not your man, His father is notable as well.
Three generations of the Dumas are depicted above with the younger's grandfather.

Orsch Assignment

[edit]

To make a Wikipedia Article called Orsch which is an acronym for one room schoolhouse and presently teaching a progressive based education to the children residing in and around Gunnison, Colorado, U.S.A.[1]

Educating Orschstaffer

[edit]

The Teahouse opened the doors to editing for me. Their freindly welcome encourages to sign the guestbook, introduce yourself, next visit the Hosts, they each will introduce themselves that you may select any with common interests or particular expertise. Then go ahead and ask your question, when you return to your userpage (or wherever) they will respond and if not, as they do many things, they will let you know you have a response to your question soon.

Thanks to Pluma for a decent entry level wiki tutelage.

My first wikimarkups assignment can be viewed here.

The 2nd assignment is a little more intimidating as my brief attempt at vandalism detection introduced an area of research required to fully understand how reverting such is an integral part of Wiki philosophy. As a novice, I see a need to identify the act as it is performed and sorta taze the culprit in the act. (Where are the BotCommandors when you need them?) Please consider the humor here, as well as the call out for those capable of commanding such a bot.

Everything may not be exactly as they appear

References,Citations, Notability and Verifiability

[edit]

"NtheP ...One thing struck me as I was fiddling with my Wiki edit options under User - Preferences - Gadgets. I activated The "ProveIt" gadget, whilst looking for easier referencing and citation tool, and it has a template for "Press Releases". Then I went digging and found the template listed under Wikipedia:Citation_templates. Oh boy! I then went digging under Verifiability where there is a foot note about press releases which points to Self published or questionable sources as sources on themselves." [3]

Questions and Concerns needing explained

[edit]

Today I found a link to my contributions page from an edit summary which I failed to enter with an edit to another user's page. A left-pointing arrow (←) link on my contributions page took me to the AES page. Is anyone out there who would care to explain what is going here as my concern involves the vandalism mentioned under the "What to do" heading?[1][2]

I am interested in page links and perhaps I will install them as Section Headers as above. Then I as have time to read the article fully I can take notes here as such.

The path to a featured article

can be found at this page.

I have copy/pasted this template and removed the noinclude documentation. Should I have used a template syntax instead? and if so what is it, where to find it?

Great Title
