Welcome to my page - not much yet, but a beginning.

My family first came to Oregon in 1850 and started building homes and courthouses. My daughter is a 5th generation native Oregonian.

I was born in Corvallis and my family moved to Eugene when I was a baby. There I graduated South Eugene HS.

That's pretty much it for now. Someday I'll include pics of Oregon going back to before 1900.

My Grandfather was a Marine from 1910 to 1931, my dad was a Marine from 1948 to 1958 and I was a Marine from 1977 to 1987. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Marine Security Guard Battalion (Detachments in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (then Upper Volta), Camp Lejuene, Okinawa, Mountain Warfare Center at Pickle Meadows California and then Pendleton again.

When I got out, I was the most senior Sergeant in the Marine Corps.
