Evaluate an article (Natural philosophy)
[edit]- Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
- Everything in the article is relevant and there were some parts of the article that I felt could have been expanded on such as the branches and subject matter. I think expanding the Scope section in terms of the cosmos and planetary systems that natural philosophers had during their time period.
- Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
- I find the article to be fairly neutral in terms of avoiding bias. I do find them to rely on ancient philosophizers, but I think it is necessary since they were the ones who practiced natural philosophy as a science.
- Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
- Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
- The citations that I checked lead to published books and articles that are on the topic of philosophy
- Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
- Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added?

This article has plenty of good and accurate information, I think there are parts in this article that could be expanded upon like the Section on Scope: There could be a section describing some of the thoughts that natural philosophers had about the world such as inventions to help the make measurements of the planet, cosmos, and even materials that make up these things.
