I have contributed to Wikipedia on-and-off over the last decade, on previous accounts that I have forgotten. I am still relatively inexperienced. I do my best to stay within best practices, but let me know on my talk page if I am veering into classic blunders with any of my activity.
I am interested in alchemy primarily as a historical and aesthetic topic, not out of any sense of superstition. This interest naturally leads to some overlap with modern scientific chemistry, which I am not an expert in. My interests also cover general history, geography, evolutionary biology, and fantasy fiction.
I am not afraid to throw my hat into the ring and edit articles outside of my core interests that have obvious issues or uncited claims. My philosophy with those articles is to leave them largely unchanged if I can't find a good countersource, and starting a conversation in the Talk page to identify any concerns I have so that more experienced editors can decide whether these concerns are founded.
If my previous, forgotten accounts are any track record, it is entirely likely that I will lose interest in Wikipedia again and disappear indefinitely. I do not intend to become a general article editor or improve my skills—I only want to engage with articles that I come across naturally and draw attention to glaring issues.
