The "BMR Marching band" is a division 6 marching band. There from Blackstone/Millville Mass. It was created by Tom Hessney in the early 1960's. The band started out as a "parade band" witch onley marched in big parades such as:Macy's thanksgivings day parade. Starting in the 70's they started doing "field shows" (marching on a football field). They took home multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trophy's. Mr. Hessney retired in 2000 thats when "Buddy" Bibeault witch he ran till 2010 bringing home a first place trophy in 2003 and a second place in his finale year 2010. As of now "2011" its run by Todd shafer with Mr.Bibeault as second in charge and Russ Arnold third in charge. As of now gene Bibeault is head of color guard and Dave Fox is head of percussion. The band participates in ussba ,nesba ,and micca. The school BMR has a winter percussion program and winter guard program.
