About me

[edit]
  • Use to live here.
  • Always enjoyed this / this.
  • Got to be a MK on one of these and these. Also this.
  • Got this from this guy. Most people get one sooner or later but it's still cool.
  • My first real video camera was one of these1.
  • I first got on the Net when this and this were the rage and this was going to start in a couple of years.
  • Been this for fifteen years to a this that is the kindest sole I've ever met. Brilliant too.
  • I live here and like it. Did you know the first one of this and this happened here? And it's been pretty much downhill from there. (Just kidding).
  • Have two of these and one of this. Got lucky, they're great kids.
  • I'm now this and it's the toughest job I've had to date. Also, IMO, the most important.
  • Use this most of the time but occasionally use this (can you blame me?).
  • I hack this on the side. If you're interested in it you need to read this for the history and "Applied Cryptography" for the tools by the man himself.
  • I'm currently trying to find an existing, local not-for-profit to start a PC "free store" much like freegeek in Portland, OR. Please leave me a note if you have a contact for this project or ideas to get it going.

1. Ok, I didn't want to break from the pronoun thing but there's no entry yet for the Ikegami ITC-730 AP: a video camera that cost about $20kUSD or $30kUSD in the early 1980s and weighed about 20lbs with the battery. The same now can be found on eBay for about $100USD. Man, the gear has gotten so much better.

Photography

[edit]

If you need a photo taken in or around Worcester, MA or (with advance notice) on the Cape leave me a note. I need to put a gallery up too. BTW, I use a Fujifilm FinePix S5200 (looks somewhat like this but not as nice). It's an incredible camera for the price (about $250USD as of 2006-12-03). It also has a bit of a cult following. =)

I've just started tracking wikipedians that IMO turn out great material and/or work the wiki that it should:
