It is estimated that 30% or more of the women who are emitted to the ER could be victims of domestic violence[1]
Violence against sex workers many sex workers are the subject of sexual harassment. Women who fall into the line of sex work end up there for a number of reasons some were victims of sexual and domestic abuse. Many women have stated that they have been raped as working girls. Sex workers ares very apprehensive about coming forward and reporting there attacks. Many have stated that when reported the stigma was too great and the police told them they deserved it and were apprehensive about following police policy . This is why some people feel sex work should be decriminalized.[2]
