In 2024, I created the Robert L. Pryor article on Wikipedia. Following Wikipedia policy, I acknowledge that I have a conflict of interest in creating that page because I am a friend of Pryor and a fan of his filmmaking. In 2024, Pryor gifted his physical films and the copyright of the films to me so that I could preserve his works and answer requests from others who may wish to showcase Pryor's movies in their own works. This could make me biased when writing his page. However, whatever bias or conflict of interest may exist in my creating the article about Mr. Pryor, it is outweighed by the need to preserve in history that Mr. Pryor is a pioneering documentary filmmaker from Spokane.
