Taxonomy and nomenclature
[edit]Drynaria quercifolia is known as oak-leaf ferns or oak-leaf basket ferns in English.
Common names in the Philippines include pakpak lawin (literally "hawk's wing"), paipai-amo (literally "master's hand fan"), and saga in Tagalog; and kabkab, kabkabin, or kabkaban in Bisaya.[2]
