Die Bezeichnung Southside leitet sich vom Englischen south side („südliche Gegend“) ab und weist auf den Süden Deutschlands hin. Veranstalter des Festivals sind die FKP Scorpio und KOKO & DTK Entertainment. Geschichte

Das Southside Festival fand erstmals 1999 als Pendant zum Hurricane Festival statt. 2000 erfolgte der Umzug nach Neuhausen ob Eck. Häufig auftretende Acts waren seitdem:[8]

Line 1: I‘m not sure “the year“ is necessary here, but should probably be “the year of“ (not entirely sure) and I would leave the “up“ out.

Line 2: I would use “was not“ instead of the contraction.

Line 4: I would go with ”could hold” to indicate either past tense or that it‘s still part of reported speech.

I’m not entirely sure about the use of “canvas“ for Leinwand, as I thought that was just the one to be painted on. Although I could be wrong. I used “(big) screen”.

”Public viewing“ is somewhat ‘denglisch’. The original meaning in English is “Leichenschau” :D I used “broadcast” instead.
