EDNOS (Eating Disorders not Otherwise Specified) are more common than most people think, and contrary to what people believe when associating an eating problem with only anorexia or bulimia, EDNOS is an equally damaging eating disorder many people are suffering with. It is often overlooked by people because people with EDNOS often come across as health conscious individuals following a healthy lifestyle. Ironically these same individuals often follow food rituals, have rules as of what to eat and what not to eat, how much to eat and when, and the same feelings of guilt associated with anorexics and bulimics are present.
