Amerivision Song Contest

The Amerivision Song Contest 1994 was the thirty-ninth edition of the annual Amerivision Song Contest, organised by the American Broadcasting Union (ABU), host broadcaster National Broadcasting Company(NBC). The edition was hosted in the Omni Coliseum, in Atlanta, United States, as last year's winner, Netherlands Antilles, refused to host the contest due to the lack of a proper venue for the contest, an offer also denied by the runner up Guadeloupe, offers to host the contest came from three different countries: Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the United States, with the american bid being the accepted one.

Host picking

[edit]

Ten american venues bidded to host the event, the italic bids were shortlisted and the bolded bid was the selected one from the shortlist.
