	Amerivision Song Contest

The Amerivision Song Contest 1966 was the eleventh edition of the annual Amerivision Song Contest, organised by the American Broadcasting Union (ABU) and host broadcaster RPC Televisión. The edition was hosted in the Balboa Theatre, in Panama City, Panama, as the country earned the right to host the contest by winning the previous edition.

The competition was won by the song "Roda" by Elis Regina, representing Brazil, making brazil become the third country, after Canada and Uruguay, to win the competition multiple times. This victory also came in the year of the 10th anniversary of their first win, in 1956.
