Chris Gill is a Multi Instrumentalist from the UK.He began playing guitar in 1966, and went on to play in several school bands before hitting stages outside school. He is self taught, and learned to play by listening and playing along to: Johnny Winter, Jimi Hendrix - Peter Green and Eric Clapton. He toured the southern United States and spent some time in Los Angeles and Houston before returning to the UK in 1980.After playing in several bands , he started to record under the name of Band of Rain. Recording 8 albums of original music between 2004 and 2021. Each album critically acclaimed. They are : Deep Space 2004 Garlands 2005 Arts and Allurements 2007 Sun In VIII 2011 Dust of Stars 2017 Svengali 2010 Petrichor 2020 The Sun King 2021 Acording to his Facebook page, Band of Rain was dissolved on 14 August 2023
