About me
[edit]I'm just getting back into editing wikipedia articles after not touching them for several years. I hold a Master of Music degree in vocal performance. I am a countertenor/sopranist and I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant, voice & opera for the Department of Music. I taught group voice and Vocal Tech for education majors. I have also taught several other courses at other colleges in California and Oregon, including American Popular Music, Music in History, Vocal Pedagogy, Song Literature, Opera Workshop and choir. I enjoy researching Renaissance and Baroque music and am currently very interested in the lute songs of John Dowland. I put my doctoral studies on hold to focus on family and in addition to my Master of Music degree I also have a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Music, Social Sciences, Arts & Letters, and Liberal Studies.
