Sari Sammour is a writer, blogger, and political analyst who lives in the city of Jenin in occupied Palestine. He was born in Jenin on January 22, 1974. He and his family's roots go back to a village called Mm Al-Shuf in Haifa district. He lived in Jenin camp and studied in UNRWA and was an outstanding and intelligent student. Sari grew up with only his mother and siblings by his side. His father was brutally killed in 1976. His mother was his carer until he graduated from An-Najah National University after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in computer science in 1999. Sari was arrested by the Palestinian Authority in 1996 for a few months. He was also arrested again in 2009, immediately after which he was arrested by the Israeli occupation authorities and then, finally released from Israeli prisons in 2010. Sari has been working in Jenin Governor from when he graduated to today and on. Sari has always been searching for everything new in politics, science, literature, history, and religious sciences. His love for reading and passion for science became his motivation to become a succesful, accomplished writer and blogger. He has become distinguished by his abundance of information and his precise linking with the latest developments. His skill in analyzing events and drawing the features of the next day is evident in most of his articles. His first article was successfully published in 2003 on the Al-Quds Al-Arabi website. Sari has hundreds of political and social blogs on many websites, most notably Al Jazeera for anyone to access today. He also has a long history of live interviews and interventions with many Arab and Palestinian satellite news channels.
