Brian Wallace is an actor, writer, dance critic, producer and podcaster based in the United States. He is best known for his work in live theater.

As an actor, Wallace has originated roles for playwrights Quiara Alegria Hudes, William Gibson, Tracey Scott Wilson, Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder, Luigi Creatore, Jonathan Ceniceroz and Jonathan Leaf. He was nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award for playing the role of “Mohammed” in the latter’s drama, The Caterers, which was based on the 1977 Hanafi Siege. His performance famously induced a panic attack in a member of the audience.

Wallace’s original material tends to be more comical, and is frequently showcased on the podcast he curates, A Tidy Splash of Wallace. The podcast has a satirical slant often inspired by current events, such as the Kentucky Gay Marriage Controversy, protest movements, and other themes. A Brian Wallace Christmas Carol premiered there, and filtered the Dickens novel through the eyes of secondary characters. The piece was totally improvised, and Wallace is adapting the material for a live show.

His play Trump’s Island was a parody of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. Its premise involved Donald Trump washing ashore on Gilligan's Island, and was the only staged play that year to predict the upset, albeit comically. As a producer, Wallace developed the experimental Kinsherf’s Coat for the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2017. A “play without a play,” the experience took place in a theatre where audiences saw a full set, listened to house music and were given a playbill, but no performance ever actually took place. Billed as a “preshow,” Kinsherf’s Coat received universally positive reviews, an extension and an Encore! Producers’ Award.
