Adding to Criticisms of Eco-Capitalism will provide a contrast to why it may be a good implication or alternative to just capitalism. The criticism section will also let readers get a second opinion and help the article seem less bias. Authors, scholars, and other people in this field will be used as examples.
A book I found was, Tanuro, Daniel. Green Capitalism: Why It Can't Work. London: Merlin Press, 2013. Print. which offers both support for the fight against climate change but also a challenge to its implications and reasonings for why it may not work.
Another source I found was a journalistic article by Brian Tokar that discusses the myths regarding "green capitalism" and the origins of its opposition. Tokar, Brian . "The Myths of Green Politics." New Politics. New Politics, 2014. Web. 13 Feb. 2017. Nlucassi (talk) 01:35, 13 February 2017 (UTC) Nisa L
What could be improved?
--> Multiple sources, articles, journals, or scholars that oppose green capitalism or say that it cannot work.
- Also much of the skepticism to WHY we would need a green capital system comes from the general public. Addition to the article could include article(s) that touch base on the public opinion.
Supplemental reading from D2L: Naomi Klein, “Capitalism vs. the Climate.” The Nation, 9 Nov 201 "Left is going to learn from the right" (article excerpt)
Possible inclusion on why people like capitalism to see the differences between that and eco-capitalism.
--> "Why capitalism" headline that explains a few scholars or articles on why capitalism is the market choice Alan H. Meltzer's journal, Why Capitalism, "capitalism offers both growth and freedom"
environmental agencies were formed during Carter and Reagan days then skepticism began
Read more on this I'm not sure whether the argument is that there are myths or just that there have been but they've been proven wrong "The Myths of 'Green Capitalism'" by Brian Tokar
Taruno's book argues that green capitalism cannot work and that we need social and economical change as technology that will cause more emissions with the manufacturing process and distribution to this.
Michael Moore's interpretation and excerpts of ideas of capitalism through "Capitalism: A Love Story"
Possible excerpts and quotes from film and interviews
Another addition would be lecture notes from Noam Chomsky himself
