Sen kings came to Nepal from Eastern Bengal area who used to identify themselves as Brahma Chetria and Chandrabansi.[1]

List of Sen kings in Nepal

  1. Rudra Sen[1]
  2. Mukunda Sen I (1540-1575 AD)[1]
  3. Lohang Sen (1570-1610 AD) became king of Makwanpur after his father gave him the part of the nation to rule while he was alive. They had displaced the Koche dynasty of Makawnpur.[1]
  4. Raghav Sen (1627-1667 BS) succeded Lohang Sen as king of Makwanpur.[1]
  5. Harihar Sen (1688-) succeded Raghave Sen as king of Makwanpur. He was contemporary of Pratap Malla of Kantipur. Harihar Sen fought with Mougels in 1721 BS. He conqurie the area of current Bara, Parsa, Morang, Tista and upto Ganga river in the south. He north he expanded upto Ilam. He ruled from Bijaypur.[1]
  6. Chatrapati Sen () was son from first wife of Harihar Sen. He was given to rule Bijaypur.[1]
  7. Mahakumar Sum Sen () was son from the second wife of Haihar Sen. He was given to rule Makwanpur.[1]
