YouSee (previously known as TDC Kabel TV) is Denmark's largest distributor of TV (in general), and Internet solutions on the cable network.
For 30 years TDC Kabel TV had been a distributor of cable TV in Denmark, but in 2007 TDC decided to change TDC Kabel TV to YouSee.
Through the cable network YouSee provides TV (including Video On Demand), Internet and VoIP.
TV
[edit]TV is YouSee's main product. To gain access to the network one must choose a subscribtion to one of the three main TV packages.
- Grundpakke (Basic Package)
- Mellempakke (Medium Package)
- Fuldpakke (Full Package)
All channels are available digitally via DVB-C and most of the channels also as analogue PAL. The channels in the three packages (including HD mirrors) are distributed uncoded and thus require no decoder card.
Further (digital and coded) subscribtions allow access to some 200 further TV channels.
Broadband
[edit]YouSee's Internet, formerly known as WebSpeed, comes in several solutions of up to 50 Mbit downstream and 4 Mbit upstream and includes a web-space with tools to create your own homepage. You also get a mailbox with 10 MB capacity, which can be upgraded to 250 MB and 5 accounts. As of 2007 YouSee Internet is used by roughly a fourth of all YouSee customers.
Telephony (VoIP)
