The African Commission for Policy and Leadership (ACPL) is a non-state Think-Tank founded in May 2010 with a vision of supporting African countries, regional bodies such as ECOWAS, African Union and NEPAD, towards catalyzing new paradigms in African leadership and policymaking, through partnerships with other non-state actors, donors, development partners , and the private sector.[1]

Overview

[edit]

ACPL is a unique model of Corporate Social Responsibility referred to as Non-profit Institutional Response Initiative (NIRI), which involves the use of using partnerships and ad-hoc think-tank to achieve its objectives.[2]. The institutional response initiative strategy was developed by the private, development, public and civil society sectors.
