The Killer of Killers is a horror franchise that consists of nine slasher films, three spin-off films, two television series, novels,. The franchise began with the film The Killer of Killers (1988) created by Bruce Van Holt. The franchise revolves around the fictional character Patrick Moonhouse, a policeman hunts down murderers and kills them himself. His motives were to do good in the world by getting rid of all the bad. The original film was written and directed by Van Holt, who also directed and wrote the first three sequels. However films 5 through 8 were written and directed by Owen Fraiser Jr., which despite being the son of Owen Fraiser one of the greatest directors of all time, failed at making these 4 movies. The ninth film which is a remake of the original was directed and written by one of the worst remakers of all time, Eziekiel Garrons. The film was ranked #1 on EntertainmentMovies list of the Top 200 Worst Remakes of 1990-2010. The film absolutely failed. On January 4 2017, legendary director Robert Vike announced he had aquired the rights to the franchise and is making three spin-off prequel films similar to what Star Wars is doing. Those films will be, "Madame Michaels: The Movie" which will come out February 11 2018 and will be about the character that was mentioned, "McZoogle" which will come out on March 10 2019 and be about the character Chris McZoogle who is Patrick's best friend and the third will be "Cop War" which will come out January 18 2020 and will be about the famous story from the second movie that is mentioned, the story says that about twenty years before the events of the first film, there were a group of bandits who started a mini war against cops where many people died. He has already confirmed the entire cast of characters who will be in the films and he mentioned a younger version of Moonhouse as a kid in all three films.

History On June 9 1987, Bruce Van Holt read the story about a guy named Yamiha Mukata who went around killing criminals rather than arresting them. He made a movie about it. It was successful. For the third film, he hurt himself and could not be there to direct part of the film so rather than putting a hiatus on the project, he actually got his good friend Carrie Matthews to do it. For the fifth, sixth, seventh and eight film, brand new director and son of famous one Owen Fraiser Jr. made them, they absolutley failed but were not as bad as the 2008 remake by Eziekiel Garrons. On May 9 2013, Van Holt died of a heart attack. Owen Fraiser Jr. commited suicide on May 13 2015, Eziekiel Garrons died of brain cancer on January 29 2016, and even the stand-in director for the third film Carrie Matthews died young of an overdose on March 22 2016. Meaning all 4 main filmmakers for the films are dead. Also several of the cast members died such as actor who played Moonhouse in the first 7 films Wes McJoslynn who died in a car crash October 30 2005 and actor who played the badass Captain Krupnik in the first two films Bartemius Chantler who was hit by a car on October 5 1996, all these deaths lead some to believe that the films are cursed. In the films, the character has two kids, Amanda who is 4 in the first film, the actress played her for the first three films before she unfortunutley was killed at the age of 9 in 1993 by her father before being replaced. His second kid was born at the end of the seventh movie and was the main character in the eighth movie. The actor who played Amanda was also replaced for the eighth film since she did not want to do it and replaced again for the remake. The only cast member to never be replaced and star in all 9 films is Bruce Van Holt who made the films who played The Strange Man, a background fan favourite character, Van Holt returned for the ninth film even though everyone else was replaced and that was because it was basically just a cameo and since he made the original films, the maker of the remake wanted him to stay in the film. Note to myself: i have to go to bed now, will finish later, am on the character thing. For the dream sequence only character Cedric the Cyclopes, he was played by Joe Pynerk for the first two films, but he died of a heart attack on December 5 1991, so he was replaced by Nicholas Johnson for films 3-5 but the actor quit because he didn't like the direction the sixth film was going in, so for 6-8, he was replaced by Fred Williams (Owen Blue in some scenes) and for the remake he was played by Orange Sampson. For the character of J.J., Van Holt had the idea to replace the actor in every single film, to see if anyone would notice.
