[edit]In both of these Articles it talks about the ships under American Cruise Lines. The first article talks about how they plan on making a paddle wheel ship that travels up and down the Mississippi River and that makes stops in La Crosse and Winona. They are building this because the three major ones that where there before got shut down. And the second artilce talks about how steamboat cruises are making a come back in Mississippi, and there plans of making steamboats.

Flying Dutchman Articles RA4
[edit]The Legend of the Flying Dutchman is a story of fear and folk lord. The Oxford Encyclopedia of Maritime History tells us that the Legend of the Flying Dutchman is one of myth in the domain of maritime folk art. It has been said that the Flying Dutchman was a sinister/ imaginary master of his crew and his vessel. Its a story about human hubris which leads to personal disaster, like you should never throw the Bible overboard, or you should never challenge God. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Flying_Dutchman#cite_note-1 On the other hand you have the Wikipedia article that talks about the same thing how the Flying Dutchman is a myth/folk story, but what the Wikipedia article has that the Oxford Encyclopedia of Maritime History doesn't have are the story's that the sailors have reported of seeing the Flying Dutchman. The two articles are a little different in the way that the Oxford Encyclopedia of Maritime History says that the story of the Flying Dutchman may have originated from a Norse legend of a sailor who challenged the gods by stealing something from them. And in the Wikipedia one it talks about how this Dutchman man and his crew could never make port and where doomed to seal the seas forever. The Wikipedia sources are good sources because most of them come from books about the Flying Dutchman and since the Flying Dutchman is more story than fact the sources used where good ones because they where close to the Oxford Encyclopedia of Maritime History.
