Gola Gianni

Gola Gianni is a rapper from Vienna, Austria. The rapper currently represents trap music in Germany.

Life

Gola Gianni grew up in Indonesia and the United States. At the age of 16, he and his family moved to Vienna.^[1] He started by producing beats before eventually rapping over his own instrumentals – first in English and a bit later in German.^[2] He was quickly recognized as a newcomer in the Austrian rap community. He was able to sign with Warner Music in Germany and with Universal Music Group in Austria.^[3] With the track 2 Handys, he landed in the Austrian charts for the first time on October 17, 2023. The album 77 followed in 2024, with which he reached number 95 in the German album charts.^[4]^[5]

Musical Style

Musically, he is inspired by US trap in the style of Future and Three 6 Mafia. Stylistically, he is oriented towards Michigan rap. Lyrically, he deals with typical trap topics such as illegal drug dealing, drug consumption and designer clothes.^[1]
