User:Neutralphrasing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As a reader of wikipedia for many years, I have become increasingly concerned with WP:NPOV issues and articles that seem to be camping spots for persons with a special interest, or who inadvertantly do not choose phrasings that have the least bias at a college reading level. I saw little reason to edit in the past because I have a very time consuming career, and I often need quick summation of a place or other topic with which I am not familiar. I hope to have the time to notice these problems during my casual browsing (or what is to be honest work related).

I am unable to swear by any particular expertise in English grammar or spelling, only my best efforts.

MRIS

[edit]

This little axiom occurred to me so I gave it one of our beloved accronyms. "My Reading Is Subjective" which seems to be an inescapable fact of the human condition. Here's to writing as the imaginary neutral person!

Martin Heidegger

[edit]

Heidegger laid my own foundation for the thinking that fundamentally we do not ever escape our own preconceptions. MRIS explained by a genius far above my ken.
