Hi, welcome to my user page

About myself: I have lived in the Detroit metro area for over 30 years after moving up here from rural central Kansas. I took my BA in Polish Studies from St. Mary's College of Orchard Lake and WSP w Rzeszowie in Rzeszów Poland. I have also studied German, Spanish, and Esperanto.

I made my first edit in 2014 and occasionally make edits for clarity, add links, or to request citations. I have also edited to update outdated media.

My user name is Polish for Bear which was given to me as a nickname in college because of my size (6'5" 300lbs/ 1.95m 137kg). It is however spelled incorrectly with the first ie transposed. This was originally a mistake back in the early days of email but it has worked well as I have never had it challenged as a "user name already exists."
