Nicole Edenedo (born June 8, 1991) is an American television personality and journalist. She is currently the weekday morning traffic anchor for Verizon FiOS1 News, a 24-hour television news network based in the Westchester County suburb of New York City. Previously, she worked for local CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates in Maryland and Delaware.

Career

Edenedo began her broadcasting career in Los Angeles as a red carpet entertainment reporter for My Club My Life, a website for teens and young adults created by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. From 2006 to 2011, her coverage focused primarily on television and movie premieres in Hollywood as well as other entertainment events, press junkets and media panels.

Between late 2011 and 2014, Edenedo joined the public relations team at Los Angeles International Airport where she served as social media manager. During her time at LAX, she oversaw day-to-day digital communication with passengers, launched promotional campaigns, and produced monthly and quarterly newsletter publications for the airport including the LAX Connection, LAX Capital Improvement Newsletter, & Aerogramme. She handled crisis communications during the 2013 mass shooting at the airport by guiding stranded passengers and helping to reunite them with their families via Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets.

In the summer of 2014, Edenedo began working as a writer for the scripted courtroom series Cajun Court with Justice Jacque which filmed in Shreveport, Louisiana. Scripts she wrote were 30-60 minute episodes ranging from comedy to drama for the 18-49 demographic. Of the 19 total episodes Edenedo wrote for Cajun Court, 18 of them aired during seasons 1 and 2.

By September 2014, Edenedo moved to Lewes, Delaware to join the CBS-FOX affiliate WBOC based in Salisbury, Maryland as a general assignment reporter. While there, she covered high-profile stories including the 2014 inauguration of governor Larry Hogan (R-Maryland), and the three-day funeral mass for former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden's son Beau Biden, who was the Attorney General for Delaware. In February 2016, she began reporting for the competing NBC station WRDE, the first local television news station based in Delaware. At WRDE, she was promoted from reporter to weekday morning anchor for the station's morning newscast WRDE Today, as well as the weekly features and entertainment reporter. As anchor and features reporter, Edenedo oversaw the production and launch of four weekly sponsored entertainment segments, including a fashion segment showcasing local and national retail businesses exclusively sponsored by Tanger Outlets Rehoboth Beach.

In late September 2016, Edenedo joined the FiOS1 News morning news team for the Lower Hudson Valley as a general assignment reporter.

In July 2017, she returned to Delaware's WRDE to launch a local human interest docuseries called "Hometown Heroes." Edenedo also worked on special community projects and was the MC for the 35th annual Christmas parade in Ocean City, Maryland.

In December 2018, Edenedo was tapped to become the weekday morning traffic anchor for New Jersey at FiOS1 News marking her second stint in the New York City market. Since rejoining the FiOS1 morning news team, Edenedo reports traffic for all three regions the station covers in New Jersey, Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley. She is also the weekday entertainment reporter.
