Salam! This is Namkeen Chai. My real name is not very important. I have been reading Wikipedia since 2007 for educational purposes and learning about topics of my interest. Over the years I have created, edited and contributed to numerous articles from, most actively from 2015-2017. After 2017, I started contributing through IP addresses but soon I felt the need to keep a track of the changes I make and discuss matters with other fellow Wikipedians.
The name Namkeen Chai or Salted Tea (Burushaski: Bayuwey Chai, Balti language: Paju Cha, Shina language: Pajuwey Chai) comes from a beloved beverage in Gilgit-Baltistan. It is basically milk tea mixed with salt, which might sound odd for many people who consume sweet tea. It is not the same as Noon chai or Kashmiri tea.
