PANDIT RAM BHAROSE AWASTHI WAS A ARTISTIC PAINTER RENOWNED FOR HIS ACUMEN OF CANVASS AND A FIRST GENERATION BUSINESSSMAN WITH VARING QUALITIES . HE WAS BORN IN BADARKA (UNNAO) TO PANDIT DAYASHANKAR AWASTHI (FREEDOM FIGHTER AND NAMABARDAR OF KAKORI RAILWAY STATION .

THE FAMILY WAS DRIFTED TO SATNA G.P.O.,CENTRAL INDIA IN 1912 AD DUE TO BRITISH IN DRIFTS AS HIS FATHER WAS MAROONED AND LEFT TO DIE IN THE BADARKA VILLAGE . HE HAS A GREAT HAND AND WAS SOON RENOWNED OVER FOR HIS ACCUMEN TO PAINT PAINTINGS AND PORTRAITS .SOON THE FERVOUR OF PAINTER SPREAD AND THE CLIENTS INCLUDED HIS HIGHNESS MAHARAJA OF REWA . THE MONEY FROM PAINTING WAS USED TO ESTABLISH A PRINTING PRESS NAMED M/S GANESH PRINTING PRESS UNDER THE MANAGERIAL FIRM NAMED M/S RAM BHAROSE AWASTHI & BROTHERS ,HANUMAN CHOWK,SATNA .

THIS FIRM GAINED NAME AND FAME WHEN THE FAMILY STARTED SELLING RALEIGH CYCLES FROM THE PERMISSION OF ENGLISH COL. ARSWANN. THE FAMILY PROCURED ENGLISH TREADLE AND GERMAN CYLINDER MACHINES IN ORDER TO START A WING FOR PRINTING AND PUBLISHING STYLED AS MARTAND PRESS .

DURING THE 1927 SECCSION OF CONGRESS PARTY IN TRIPURI, JABALPUR .PANDIT RAM BHAROSE AWASTHI BECAME THE FIRST PROGENITORS OF PRINTING-PUBLISHING WORLD AS HE PRINTED THE VANDE MATARAM AND DISTRIBUTED ITS COPIES IN THE SESSION. THIS ACT WAS SOON TEMPTED WITH BRITISH AS THEY SEIZED THE BOOK AND ENCLOSED THE MARTAND PRESS . AGAIN WITHOUT THE THINK AND POSSIBLE DISGRACE BY BRITISH PANDIT RAM BHAROSE AWASTHI. AGAIN PRINTED THE NATIONAL ANTHEM JAN-GAN-MAN WHICH WAS SEIZED BY POLICE IN ALLAHABAD . THE 42 MACHINE MARTAND PRESS WAS CLOSED DOWN BY THE BRITISH IN 1929 WHICH COULD BE REOPENED BY THERE FAMILY AFTER A SERIES OF DISCUSSION IN 1942 QUIT INDIA MOMENT. HE NEVER APPLIED FOR THE FREEDOM FIGHTER QUOTA AND LIVED TO HIS DIGNITY OF SELF MORAL RESPECT AND RETROSPECTION OF HUMANITY AND SERVITUDE TI MOTHER INDIA. DURING 1947-68 HE WAS BY FAR THE HIGHEST GROSSED BUSINESSMAN IN VINDHYA PRADESH AND WAS LISTED IN INCOME TAX SLAB NO 4 (M/S AWASTHI BROTHERS REWA)

HIS FIRM IS NOW RUN BY HIS GRANDCHILDRENS AND AGAINS HAS SEVERAL CREDITED FIRSTS
