Listrac-Médoc is an AOC for wine made in the commune of Listrac in the Bordeaux wine region of southwestern France, on the Left Bank of Dordogne. Vineyards are located xx kilometers to the northwest of Bordeaux.

The area covers 665 hectares, annually producing on average 37,500 hectolitres of wine.

The grape varieties of Listrac-Médoc are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and % Petit Verdot.

Soils are chalk, clay, gravel, sand

The INAO specifications demand the following production norms: a minimum of sugar, 178 g (6.3 oz) per litre of must, maximum base yield of 45 hecolitres per hectare, and a minimum alcohol by volume of 10.5%.[1]
