Loomer was the brain-child of Mat Smith and Mark 'Menny' Menlove who initialy formed as a garage band in 1998. Named after the My Bloody Valentine Song from their Album Loveless.
Prior to this Menny was a successful D.J. based in Stevenage playing in the clubs around Hertfordshire.
Formed in 1998 in Hertfordshire, UK. Disbanded 2003. In between some of the finest music you've never heard was produced, played and loved. 2009: we're back. You have a second chance to experience Loomer.
Mat Smith was the main song-writer who along with Menny came up with many of the early songs. These were later augmented by the Bass and Drum skills of both Andy's and the writing talents of Matt Coggins who added to the Loomer sound writing his own songs and expanding on the increasing catalogue of music writen by Smith/Menny . As a creative team they came up with some fine tunes
