PARKER PAWS
[edit]PARKER PAWS (October 8 2010- )is a member of the family Felis catus and the second adopted member of the Westfield cat club, as well as a member of The Humane society for the protection and adoption of strays. His humanitarian efforts are run from his home office in Westfield Ma, where he abides to his philosophy of "All it takes is a little time and effort each day, to put a smile on a face."
BIOGRAPHY AND CAREER Early Life (2008-2009) Parker was born in Springfield Ma, on according to various dates on official paperwork, either the 8 or 10 of October 2008. He was quickly abandoned at his young age, and due to the fact that he never knew both of his parents (which may be due to the part that they were strays.) found himself living in the Van Horn park area of Springfield. "Growing up in that part of town, never had a negative impact on me. It made me proud of what I do and who I am. When you live in a park at such an early age, eating garbage, and fighting for it all you gain a sense of pride and respect for the hardships you face. It makes me glad that I can help others they way I too was helped."- Parker Paws in his Christmas Eve speech 2010 But soon the harsh living conditions caught up to him, as he was taken to the DAKIN SHELTER. Where he was diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection, and a cyst on his tail which had to be surgically removed. He was then placed in a isolation room until he got better. As luck would have it, a few weeks later,he was released and adopted by a nice family in Westfield. Once he got adapted to his new home, he launched on his humanitarian efforts. 2010
With a new life, and a positive outlook for the new year. Mr. Paws launched his first endeavor, which was to petition for better conditions and health care for the strays at Dakin. Unfortuneatly, his efforts were ill timed, and pretty much a waste of time, as a health and wellness overhaul happened after he left. With the help of both Facebook, and his "bestest buddy" Matt, he then launched the next endeavor which was the Hartford Admirals fantasy baseball team. This project turned out to be a huge success, until he found out through the beer fueled ravings of his alleged partner that "Cats don't care about baseball.." This remark only soured up a relationship with his partner taht included the breaking up of the Dollar Tree Racing team which they had worked hard to assemble. In mid 2010 he began his outreach work to help the strays. Often working round the clock, and odd hours in the day. This work led him to take on an additional employee (Pugavitza), who later became his companion. Their efforts began to take shape, and during his traditional July 4 Barbecue, he quoted Alice Coopers "I love america" in his speech, that outlined his next six month plan.
"Thank you all for coming, and Happy July 4. Its nice to see everyone here on a day that is so bloody hot, but wait the grill gets fired up. Today I am thankful for all the good that has happened to me in the past year. A new home, a beautiful girlfriend, helping the causes, and A NEW LIFE! (Matt get away from the beer)It is because of you all that this happened and I am grateful. Now, in the coming months me and Puga will be working hard to ensure that all strays and homeless will have a place to go, food to eat, better lives. Noone should be cold, hungry, alone, at the holidays or anytime else. As Mr. Cooper just said on the radio "I LOVE AMERICA" not only do I love it, but I want to change it for better so no cat is left behind. (Matt get away from the grill) Now lets all eat, drink, and enjoy our holiday. "- Parker Paws speech 7-4-2010
But all the hard work that he poured into his foundation was no more by the end of August 2010. He was challenged to a game of online golf by one time friend and partner Matt, in which he lost. By losing, Matt became majority shareholder of his organization. Using his influence Matt started the Westfield Warriors fantasy football team.
