Why did you revert my edit?

If your question is this, than my reply would be "I have/had reverted your edit because it constituted vandalism or it was an un-constructive edit."

Vandalism

"Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content, in a deliberate attempt to damage Wikipedia. Examples of typical vandalism are adding irrelevant obscenities and crude humor to a page, illegitimately blanking pages, and inserting obvious nonsense into a page."

Wikipedia defines the term "Vandalism" in the following manner:-

Editing tests

Users sometimes edit pages as an experiment. Such edits are different from vandalism but are also prohibited on Wikipedia.

Addition of unsourced content

Most edits should be properly cited, sourced and referenced. This goes especially if it is a biography of a living person.

Rollback and Pending Changes Reviewer

I'm a member of Rollback and Pending Changes Reviewer too. So I can undo all your recent edits to a given page in a single mouse click, if the edit contains vandalism or is non-constructive.

But I use these rights rarely. I most often use STiki to deal with vandalism.

File Mover

I'm a member of this group File Mover too. With this right, I can rename files, in case they are misspelled or their titles are inappropriate. As a result, a redirect is left when moving files. In most cases the file redirect is remained on the original page.

Did I made a mistake?

I might also put this question to you in case you think I have reverted a edit, which I shouldn't. For this mistake, I would say that every body (including me) are humans and make (often) mistakes. If you think that I reverted a non-vandal or constructive edit, than do one of the following things:-

Revert my edit only if you think that the edit is non-vandal and constructive edit.
Message me on my talk page. I will then review your message, edit and will revert my edit if the edit is non-vandal and constructive edit.
